Talent Scout, is pleased to announce the appointment of Uhriel Bedoya as its new Director. In this role, Bedoya will lead the strategic development of Talent Scout into a more dynamic and inclusive Talent vehicle with a broader reach to all participants in South Florida’s Tech Ecosystem.

“For years I have been an advocate of inclusive talent in the workforce. I have consulted with other founders and entrepreneurs on how to intentionally create teams that deliver better results - as a result of their diversity. Taking on Talent Scout as its inaugural  Director allows me to double down on that passion and contribute a critical element to sustainably growing our local Tech Ecosystem”, Bedoya said.

“At aīre ventures , we strive to make a meaningful contribution towards building a more inclusive tech ecosystem in Miami.  Adding Talent Scout to our growing portfolio of social impact ventures was a no brainer.  To accelerate the impact of Talent Scout, however, we needed a strong leader who is not only passionate about inclusion, but has deep experience in the equity space. Uhriel is that leader.  His personal and professional journey underscore his capacity to serve Talent Scout well in building the infrastructure for the present and future of bridging tech talent opportunity gaps in South Florida”. Leigh-Ann Buchanan, president of aīre ventures said.

“What aīre ventures is doing with the REDI Scorecard is an important first step in assessing the needs of the local market to focus the efforts of Talent Scout. Every market is different, South Florida is no different. The Talent Scout team is ready to work with companies, founders, VCs, Talented professionals and every other stakeholder to build off the bat the inclusive Tech Hub that can be an example to emulate”, said Bedoya.
